Question: How do I apply for an internship?

Answer: The SWSDIP application has two parts: the first part of the application determines applicant eligibility for the internship program and the second part of the application allows eligible applicants to apply for specific positions at state agencies. You must complete both applications in order to be considered for an internship position.

When you complete the first part of the application on Wisc.Jobs, you will receive an email on the following business day that confirms whether or not you are eligible for the internship program. Eligible applicants will receive a second email containing a link to the second part of the application in AccessGOV.

Answer: The first part of the SWSDIP application (available on Wisc.Jobs – job opening ID 16226) will remain open until 11:59 pm central time on Friday, February 7, 2025. The second part of the application (in AccssGOV) will remain open until 11:59 pm central time on Friday, February 14, 2025.

Answer: The application period closes in early February 2025 – part one of the application closes on February 7, 2025, and part two of the application closes on February 14, 2025.
