The HRIS Administration and Management section administers and supports the state's benefits and data reporting programs. This includes providing assistance to agency staff on the resolution of benefit and payroll issues and maintaining a high-level of involvement and quality communication with the departments to ensure that service is responsive and supportive to their needs. Major responsibilities include:
- Administering payroll processing and support. This includes managing benefit deductions, approve pay adjustments, and monitor position/budget issues
- Collaborating with PeopleSoft STAR team to identify system issues and improvements
- Managing benefits side of DPM website (employee and administrator facing pages)
- Managing health and life insurance payment reconciliation on behalf of agencies
- Managing the output of employee benefit interfaces
- Providing data analysis, queries, and reports as requested
- Interpreting and apply statewide policies; assist in drafting/updating policies
- Review/approve HCM security requests
- P-file coordination, including mass loads of P-files
- Provide leadership and project management of system implementations and upgrades (TAM, Wiscjobs, EPerformance, SkillSurvey)
- Managing the benefits open enrollment process, the annual Wisconsin Retirement System (WRS) reconciliation process, the Income Continuation Insurance Annual Update and Deferred Enrollment Period
- Managing the Affordable Care Act (ACA) Reporting process
- Administering Fiscal Year Position/Budget Updates
