Enterprise HR Policies

​The Division of Personnel Management establishes enterprise-wide policies in the form of policy bulletins and chapters in the Wisconsin Human Resources Handbook.  These documents are established within the laws and administrative codes which govern HR within the State of Wisconsin.  The primary audience for these documents is the HR community but the information is available to employees, supervisors, and managers. 

When reviewing these documents, be advised that agencies are permitted to create additional procedures and more specific policy as needed, as long as they do not conflict with the established enterprise handbook chapters and bulletins.  Employees, supervisors, and managers are advised to always consult their assigned HR representative when looking for policy information applicable to their agency.
