​Accident Plan Summary​

The Securian Accident Plan provides a lump sum cash payment directly to you for covered injuries, emergency and hospital care, surgery, and follow-up care. Additional benefits include:

  • Accidental death and dismemberment benefits

  • Identity theft services

  • Travel assistance

  • No taxes due on paid benefits

You select who will be covered under the plan. You will select one of the following coverage levels:

  • ​Employee

  • Employee​​ + Spouse

  • Employee + Child(ren)

  • Family (coverage for both spouse and children)​

  • New employees can enroll within 30 days of hire.

  • Employees may enroll in or make changes to coverage during the annual open enrollment period.

  • Employees can enroll or change coverage level due to a qualifying life event (ex., addition of a dependent).
