Partners in Giving

Trusted. Efficient. Successful. Partners in Giving is the nationally-recognized state employee workplace fundraising campaign in Dane County, raising millions of dollars each year for over 500 charities.

Every October, hundreds of employee volunteers reach out to their Dane County colleagues at state agencies, UW Madison and UW Health. Employees are given the opportunity to make a donation to the charity or charities of their choice and select how they want to pay for it. Donations can be made by payroll deduction, credit card, check or cash.

Department of Administration – The ultimate goal of all our programs is to offer Wisconsin residents the most efficient, highest-quality state government services possible.

Department of Agriculture, Trade, and Consumer Protection - Our mission is to partner with all the citizens of Wisconsin to grow the economy by promoting quality food, healthy plants and animals, sound use of land and water resources, and a fair marketplace.

Department of Children and Families - The Mission of the Department of Children and Families is to improve the economic and social well-being of Wisconsin’s children, youth and families. The Department is committed to protecting children and youth, strengthening families, and supporting communities.

Department of Corrections - At the Wisconsin Department of Corrections, we are focused on public safety through the custody and community supervision of offenders. We offer education, programming, and treatment to offenders to enable them to be successful upon their return to the community. Our mission is to achieve excellence in correctional practices while fostering safety for victims and communities.

Department of Financial Institutions - The Department of Financial Institutions is dedicated to protecting Wisconsin citizens through financial regulation and education. We are committed to ensuring the safety and soundness of Wisconsin financial institutions, protecting the investing public, and enhancing the viability and accessibility of the state's business record-keeping system. 

Department of Health Services - To support economic prosperity and quality of life, the Department of Health Services exercises multiple roles in the protection and promotion of the health and safety of the people of Wisconsin.

Department of Justice - The Wisconsin Department of Justice provides legal representation and advice, criminal investigation, law enforcement and victim services for the state of Wisconsin.  

Department of Military Affairs – The Department of Military Affairs (DMA) provides essential, effective, and responsive military and emergency management capability for the citizens of our state and nation. DMA includes Joint Force Headquarters-Wisconsin, the Wisconsin Army and Air National Guard, and the Wisconsin Division of Emergency Management.

Department of Natural Resources  To protect and enhance our natural resources, our air, land and water; our wildlife, fish and forests and the ecosystems that sustain all life. To provide a healthy, sustainable environment and a full range of outdoor opportunities. To ensure the right of all people to use and enjoy these resources in their work and leisure. To work with people to understand each other's views and to carry out the public will. And, in this partnership consider the future and generations to follow.

Office of the State Public Defender - To promote justice throughout Wisconsin by providing high-quality legal services, protecting individual rights, and advocating as a criminal justice partner for effective defender services and a fair and rational criminal justice system. Vision statement: Working together, the Wisconsin State Public Defender Office will lead the way in protecting justice for all.

Department of Public Instruction - Mission: Educational Equity—every student has what they need to learn when they need it; Vision: Every Child a Graduate, College and Career Ready.

Department of Revenue - Our agency administers Wisconsin's tax system to provide revenue to fund state and local government services. We strive to provide taxpayers with clear information about our tax laws, promote voluntary compliance, and assure tax collection fairness.
