STAR HCM

​​You can find job aids ​for our State Transforming Agency Resources (STAR) ​Human Capital Management (HCM), also known as STAR HCM or STAR, on the HCM Core Users Job Aids page. ​

STAR HCM is comprised of several HR, payroll, and benefit applications that work together to deliver comprehensive business functions, provide sophisticated features and collaborative, self-service functionality, enabling state agencies to manage their human resources and payroll while aligning their workforce initiatives with strategic business goals and objectives. This includes instructions on how to manage personnel transactions and personnel records for various HR related functions.

TAM - Recruiting Solutions

You can find guidelines, job aids, and previously recorded training sessions for our Talent Acquisition Manager (TAM) and Candidate Gateway (the wisc.jobs public interface) on the Recruiting Solutions page​. This includes step-by-step instructions on how to create and manage a recruitment through TAM and how to manage hires. 

TAM is a module in STAR HCM and allows information to transfer seamlessly from recruiting to hiring. It also provides employees access to apply for positions.

BMRS provides recruiting technical support and guidance to HR staff and would love to help you with your special recruiting needs. Whether it's a large recruitment or a specialized position, we're available to partner with you to find a solution or develop a recruiting plan. ​

​​​​How to Submit a Service Request Ticket

  1. Submit a ticket into the DaySmart Appointments Application - the ticket will go directly to the Wisconsin State Enterprise Dedicated tech support at DaySmart Appointments.​
  2. You'll receive a Confirmation email. If this an urgent matter and needs escalation, when you receive a confirmation email from the system forward the confirmation ticket to the dedicated Account Manager, Matthew Peavy matthey.peavy@daysmart.com, and cc: Karla.King@wisconsin.gov. Use the Recruiting Contacts Teams channel to alert others that a ticket has been submitted.
  3. Call Tech Support to escalate or resolve issues with DaySmart Appointments​ ONLY after submitting a service ticket within the DaySmart system, Support number 480-771-7871, ask for Deborah Wolfe.

​​Enterprise​ Rep​​ort​ing

BMRS, in collaboration with the Bureau of Equity & Inclusion (BEI),​ regularly publish several​ enterprise personnel relate​d reports. These reports are accessible by anyone, including the public, and provide metrics and analy​ses of the ​personnel composition across the enterprise and by agen​cy.

Access to enterprise personnel dashboards is​ restricted. Please reach out to your Human Resources Director and they can pull data for you. ​
